Members of Parliament will vote later today on whether to block the United Kingdom from leaving the European Union without a deal on March 29, after again rejecting the British Prime Minister’s Withdrawal agreement.
The deal was defeated in the Commons on Tuesday evening by 149 votes.
Meanwhile, the United Kingdom government says it will cut tariffs on a range of imports from outside the European Union and introduce measures to avoid a hard border in Northern Ireland in a no-deal scenario.
Numerous European Union leaders have expressed their dismay after Members of Parliaments voted by 391 to 242 votes to reject Prime Minister, Theresa May’s deal.
