The Christmas Day Fire Victims In Abakpa Nike, Enugu Set to Get Relief funds from Enugu State Government

The Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has promised a relief fund of five hundred thousand naira each to the three widows and two other victims of Christmas fire incident at Mba Street, Ugboezeji in Abakpa Nike, Enugu.
The state governor made the pledge through a delegation led by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Edward Ubosi in rescue of the Victims.
The representative of the governor, Edward Ubosi after words of solidarity to the victims in Ugboezeji announced the government relief fund of five hundred thousand naira to each of the five families and a million naira to their landlord.
Meanwhile, The Executive Secretary, Enugu State Emergency Management Agency, Nkechi Eneh, Who Also Presented Relief Materials From The Government To The Victims, Admonished Them To Remain Cautious In Their Domestic Activities To Avert Such Occurrence.
The Relief Materials Presented To The Victims Include Bags Of Rice And Other Food Items, Beddings, As Well As Household Utensils.

Also, the Immediate Past Chairman, Enugu East Local Government Area, Cornelius Nnaji and His Successor, Alex Ugwu, pledged to support the victims with Fifty Thousand Naira To Each Of The Five families in Ugboezeji.
In extension of the gesture, the Owners Of The Burnt Furniture Shop At Ugbo- Oghe, in Abakpa Nike will also Receive Two Million Naira Relief, In Addition To Three Hundred Thousand Naira And Two Hundred Thousand Naira To Two other Women In The Vicinity, Who Were Also Affected.
