The Accredited Foreign and Local Election Observers in the just Concluded General Elections in Enugu state have commended the outcome of the polls across the seventeen local governments in Enugu state.

Speaking on behalf of the INEC accredited election observers, Samuel Ihenoja hinted on their roles before, during and after the general elections.

Samuel Ihenoja condemned the attack and political motivated intimidation of the observers in Igboeze North Local government area.

He used the medium to call for an improvement on the success recorded in the last general elections as well as adequate funding of the Independent Electoral Commission as he spoke on the credibility of the electoral process.

Our correspondent Michael Ilediagu reports that both the foreign and local election observers in Enugu state agreed that the process were peaceful and transparent.
