Fire outbreak renders three widows, two other families homeless at Ugboezeji, Abakpa Nike, Enugu.

The fire outbreak lasted for over two hours yesterday at number eight Mba Street, Ugboezeji Abakpa Nike Enugu before the state fire service intervened.

Among the occupants were three widows. One of them, Mrs. Melvina Ngwu said she went out to the market only to return in about two hours and met their apartments in shamble.
According to a son of one of the affected widows, Ifeanyi Irohamu they did not remove even pin from their apartment.

The cause of the fire remains unknown as two conflicting report blames high voltage of electricity and possible gas cylinder explosion!
Meanwhile, the incident began about eleven o’clock in the morning and lasted for about two to three hours.
