The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Anambra State says it has taken delivery of all the sensitive electoral materials earlier deployed for the February 16 presidential and National Assembly elections.

INEC’s Head Voter Education and Publicity, Leo Nkedife, announced this on Sunday in Awka, the state capital.

He said the action is necessary to secure the materials.

Nkedife restated that, the postponed election would now hold on Feb. 23 for the Presidential and National Assembly, while the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections will hold on March 9, 2019.
