Who is the enigma that is Emeka Solomon? Emeka, is the last child of a family of six. A native of Nteje, in Oyi local government area of Anambra state. Known previously as schoolboy during his time at unizik, he graduated from the French department in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. A soft spoken lyrical genius that started his professional music career at the age of 11. At first, he was writing songs for the church but was later made the choir master while still a teenager. His crafts are mostly influenced by the environment and music influences include the legendary Afrobeat proponent, Fela, rap genius, Tupac and Eminem. Over the years, Emeka Solomon’s music career has seen him release hit singles consistently, cementing his place as a strong Eastern voice in the industry.

From the widely successful record “Eh” to “For You” to the remix of “Eh” which featured Lil kesh, he’s been nothing but a blessing to the music industry. Apart from his hugely accepted catalogue, and the recent chart topping fire song “Nonsense”, Emeka is set to release an EP sometime next month (July). Now, I’ve heard some of the tracks and I can guarantee you, it’s going to be nothing short of absolute madness. So, make sure you stay glued to your radio sets cause it’ll be the new anthem.
